The process

From a request to a working app in no time.

Every step kept the client close, iterating on real feedback and delivering something tangible to inform the next step.

01

Question

Understanding the brief

Start with the right question. What does Melles actually need? Who is the audience? What does success look like? This phase is short but decisive: it sets the direction for everything that follows.

With a few concepts drawn in Claude Design, we explore possibilities and align expectations. We finish with a clear goal for the next step: a working prototype that demonstrates the core experience.

02

Rapid Prototype

2–3 hours to something tangible

Within hours of the first conversation, we have a working prototype.
A real iOS app that the client can test immediately.
This lets me gather direct, useful feedback.

03

Agreeing on the plan

Samen bepalen wat er volgt

After the first response to the prototype, we make a shared plan. Priorities are clear, scope is agreed, and the client knows exactly what to expect and when.

04

Developing the core elements

Kernelementen, getest met de opdrachtgever

The fundamental building blocks, including navigation, content structure and key interactions, are developed and tested directly with the client.

05

Working iteratively

Continuous progress, always visible

Work happens in short cycles. The client sees progress continuously, beyond just the milestones. This keeps feedback concrete and prevents major detours.

Documentation & results

Gestructureerd feedback verzamelen

Results are documented to make feedback clear and actionable. The client responds to specific, structured questions rather than loose impressions. The design improves with every round.

Result

A complete product suite in two weeks.

The full suite, including concert discovery, listening, seat reservations, QR check-in, staff scanning and a management dashboard with a backend, was delivered as a working product within two development weeks.
