The short version
Gravity Crush is a casual space game: you steer a black hole, eat planets and collect alien species. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your data when you play.
- I do not collect, receive or store any of your personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no chat and no purchases.
- Your game progress and settings stay on your device. They are never sent anywhere, and deleting the app deletes them.
- The game is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some data to show and measure these ads and to prevent fraud.
- You are in control: in the EU, UK and Switzerland you can choose non-personalised ads, on iPhone and iPad you can refuse tracking, and on Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID.
Who I am and how to contact me
Gravity Crush is made by Wayman Design, an independent developer based in Houten, the Netherlands. I am responsible for the app and for this privacy policy (the "controller" under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR).
- App: Gravity Crush, for iPhone and iPad (App Store) and Android (Google Play)
- App ID: design.wayman.gravitycrush
- Email: 3dlight.mail@gmail.com
If you have any question about this policy or your privacy, please email me. I will reply as soon as I can.
What data the app stores on your device
To remember your progress, the game saves the following in the app's local storage on your phone or tablet:
- the stars you have earned and your best scores;
- the alien species and fact cards you have collected;
- your sound setting.
This information stays on your device. It is never sent to me or to anyone else, and I cannot see it. If you delete the app, this data is deleted too. There is no cloud backup of your progress by me.
Device permissions
- Vibration (haptics): the game uses vibration as feedback during play. On Android this needs the VIBRATE permission. It does not collect any data.
- Advertising ID (Android only): the app declares the AD_ID permission so that Google AdMob can use your Advertising ID where you allow it. See the sections below.
The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos or precise (GPS) location.
Advertising and data collected by Google AdMob
Gravity Crush is free to play. To support it, the app shows banner ads during levels and, from time to time, a full-screen ad between levels. These ads are provided by Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK that is built into the app.
When the app loads and shows ads, Google may collect and process the following information from your device. This data goes to Google, not to me.
- Device identifiers: the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) on iPhone and iPad, or the Google Advertising ID on Android, only where you or your device settings allow it.
- IP address and approximate location: your IP address, and a rough location (such as country or city) that is derived from it.
- Device and app information: for example your device model, operating system version, language and the version of the app.
- Ad interaction data: for example which ads were shown and whether you tapped them.
- Crash and performance diagnostics: technical information about how the ad technology is working, such as errors and loading times.
What Google uses this data for
- showing ads in the game;
- measuring how ads perform (for example, counting views and taps);
- detecting and preventing fraud and abuse;
- showing personalised ads, but only where you have given consent or where your device settings allow it.
Choosing which ad to show is done automatically by Google's systems. This does not lead to any decision that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who is responsible for this data
I chose to include Google's ad technology in the app, but I do not receive the data it collects. Google decides how it processes this data and is responsible for it under its own policies. You can read more here:
Legal basis (GDPR)
Where the law requires your consent, for example for personalised ads and for storing or reading information on your device, the app asks for it first (see the next section). Showing non-personalised ads, measuring them and preventing fraud is based on my legitimate interest in keeping the game free to play. You can object to this at any time (see "Your rights under the GDPR").
International transfers
Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Google uses safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Consent and your choices
Consent form in the EU, UK and Switzerland
If you play in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform, which uses the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework) before any personalised ads are shown. You can agree to personalised ads, or choose non-personalised ads. Non-personalised ads are not based on your past behaviour, but Google still uses some data to show them, for example your approximate location, and to limit how often you see the same ad and to prevent fraud.
Saying no to personalised ads does not limit the game in any way.
Tracking prompt on iPhone and iPad
On iOS and iPadOS, the app uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt to ask your permission before your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) is used. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are not personalised using your IDFA. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Advertising ID on Android
On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings, usually under Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads (the exact menu depends on your device). If you delete it, apps can no longer use it for personalised ads.
How to withdraw or change your consent
- Change your device settings: turn off tracking on iOS, or reset or delete your Advertising ID on Android, as described above. This keeps your game progress.
- See the consent form again: delete and reinstall the app, or on Android clear the app's storage (Settings > Apps > Gravity Crush > Storage). The consent form will appear again the next time you open the game. Please note that this also deletes your game progress, because it is stored only on your device.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

This table summarises all the data involved in Gravity Crush. "Used for tracking" means linking data from this app with data from other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising or ad measurement, as defined by Apple. None of this data is linked to your identity by me.

Children's privacy
Gravity Crush is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from children. In fact, I do not collect personal data from anyone: everything I listed above is either stored only on your device or collected by Google for advertising.
If you live in the EU and are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before agreeing to personalised ads, or simply choose non-personalised ads in the consent form.
If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, please email me at 3dlight.mail@gmail.com.
Data retention and security
I do not keep any of your data, because I never receive it. I run no servers, have no accounts and use no analytics of my own.
Your game progress is kept on your device until you delete the app (or clear its storage). It is protected by your device's own security.
Data collected by Google AdMob is kept and protected by Google according to its own policies. You can read how long Google keeps data in How Google retains data it collects and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Your rights under the GDPR
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
- access the personal data held about you;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict how your data is used;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest, including for advertising;
- withdraw your consent at any time (see "Consent and your choices");
- complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority). You can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live.
How to exercise your rights with me
Email me at 3dlight.mail@gmail.com. Because I do not receive or store any personal data, I will usually have nothing to give you or delete, but I will confirm this and help you find the right place to go. I will reply within one month.
Your game progress is on your device, so you can delete it yourself at any time by deleting the app.
How to exercise your rights with Google
For data collected by Google AdMob, Google is the right party to contact. The Google Privacy Policy explains your options and how to reach Google. You can also limit what Google collects at any time by turning off tracking on iOS, or resetting or deleting your Advertising ID on Android.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy, for example if the app changes or the law changes. When I do, I will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date below.
Effective date: 10 October 2026
